I am trying to do something a little bit different with Covert Contact. My goal is to produce a program that showcases complex and meaningful national security topics in a manner that resonates across the entire spectrum. I have a lot of diplomats, journalists, technical experts, intelligence and military professionals in the audience (which I am thankful for) but I want the casual observer of international affairs to find the program accessible, thought-provoking, and engaging as well. We’re going to go off in unexpected directions, wrestle with big problems, and struggle to gain a true understanding of what is happening around us. I want to understand problems and explore potential solutions rather than complaints and partisan politics. Along the way I’ll be engaging diplomats, spies, authors, artists, researchers, and journalists so that we can look at issues from diverse perspectives.
If this sounds appealing to you there are a few things that you can do to help. First, subscribe to the Covert Contact podcast and share your appreciation for the show with others. Tell your friends and associates about it. Share it on social media. Follow @CovertContact on Twitter. Tweet about the show. Secondly, your comments and reviews on places like iTunes can have a significant impact on the show’s visibility. Please take just a moment of your time and give something back that will help propel this project forward. Anyway, it’s more fun for everyone if you get involved.
Thanks for listening, and thank you for your continued support.
